Qatar Cargo, one of the business partners of Havaş, which carries brand new technologies and hardware to its services through its investments in innovation, in warehouse services, was presented Jury Special Award during Atlas Logistics Awards with their reefer truck project, which was put into operation by Havaş last year. Closely followed by the logistics sector and business world, 10th Atlas Logistics Awards held as part of Logitrans International Transport Logistics Exhibition nominated 83 companies in 5 categories and the winners of the categories were awarded.

Havaş General Manager Kürşad Koçak stated, ‘’At Havaş, we contribute to the development of the industry in each field we operate in and focus on setting the bar higher together with our business partners by transferring the cutting-edge technologies to our services. Hence, we are glad that the reefer truck project that we developed in 2018 for the first time and put into service in the operations of Qatar Cargo, one of our long-term business partners, to be awarded. Our reefer trucks were developed to enable the protection of the cold chain for perishable products including food, medicine, etc. transported by air cargo during their apron transfers. We will continue to achieve the firsts in air cargo sector, as well as our investments in innovation".

Operating at its facility within Istanbul Airport over an approximately 14,000 square meter area, besides its warehouses at Izmir Adnan Menderes and Ankara Esenboğa airports, Havaş undertakes delivery and handling of import and export cargos by providing storage services to general cargos, valuable cargos, cargos containing dangerous goods and radioactive materials. Furthermore, Havaş provides inquiry services with its `Tracking by Bill of Lading` function available under the warehouse services menu on the Havaş Mobile app and online services section on havas.net to enable easy access of its import cargo customers to the storage fees of the warehouses.
